In order to be able to monitor very

fast curing reactions the new FastOsc

(fast oscillation) technique was developed

for the HAAKE MARS III

instrument.

 

The FastOsc technique as implemented

in the HAAKE MARS III

has a maximum data acquisition

rate for the rheological data (G’, G“,

etc.) of 500 Hz, i.e. a time of 2 ms

between two data points! This value

is independent of the actual oscillation

frequency.

 

With the FastOsc Mode an impressive

new technique is available for the

HAAKE MARS III for measuring

very fast curing processes in CS- and

CD-Mode! A portfolio of UV curing

cells enables the simulation of

standard curing processes, processes

with individual setups as well as

thermal assisted UV curing processes.

Thanks to the fully automated measurement

and evaluation sequences

(jobs) in the HAAKE RheoWin

software, which include the control

of the UV light source shutter, high

quality data is easily realized for

both R&D and quality control

purposes.
